Johnny Walker Red Label Event, The Hilton Sandton | Event Photography

Johnny Walker Red Label Event The Hilton Sandton

This Johnny Walker Red Label event was held at The Hilton in Sandton. A pre dinner drinks event for ±30 of Johnny Walker’s marketing managers from all over Africa, and a showcase of the new Johnnie Walker Red Label bottle and packaging. The event was organised by Night Vision Marketing and was extremely impressive from a creative and eventing perspective. They went all out with a massive ice sculpture of a Johnny Walker bottle, live music, promo girls and much more. The signature drink for the evening was Johnny Walker Red Label and Ginger Ale, which I had the pleasure of ending my evening off with!

Tammy and Richards Engagement Party | Event Photography

Engagement Party Photography

I was extremely honored to join Richard and Tammy on the night of their ‘Old world charm’ themed engagement party to cover the event. They are such a lovely family with wonderful friends, all of whom joined them for the evening. Tammy and Richard have such a lovely and charmed history which amounts to nothing less than true love.  They are both pilots, and announced during the evening’s speeches that they would be flying their friends and family to the Victoria Falls for the wedding. I have not doubt that this couple is going to be very happy together and i wish them long and blessed future together.

Suzaan Heyns, Fashion’s Big Night Out @ VIP Room in Sandton

Fashions Big Night Out, Sponsored by Absolut Vodka

Absolut Vodka sponsors Fashion’s Big Night Out, held at the VIP Room in the Michaelangelo Towers in Sandton on a weekly basis. There were a few designers present, each with a few models, who were situated on platforms at the entrance and throughout the club. I was there to photograph Suzaan Heyns’ collection, who chose to finish off her exquisite outfits with the unusual jewellery by Sobeit Studios.

In 2008 Heyns began showing collections under her own name at Design Indaba. Suzaan Heyns | Melrose Arch Store Launch

Suzaan Heyns Melrose Arch Store Opening

A few months ago i had the pleasure of attending and photographing the store launch of Suzaan Heyns an incredibly talented local fashion designer’s store in Melrose Arch.  The event was sponsored by Bombay Saphire and was well attended by local celebrities, such as Felicia, Pearl Thusi, Abby and Claire Meekel, Tamara Day, Louise Carver, Catriona Andrew and Lindiwe Suttle, who gave an amazing performance, singing songs from her album ‘Kamikaze’  from behind the store window.

The Suzaan Heyns store is situated on the top level of the Piazza in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg.

Nani’s Studio Photo Shoot | 48hr Music Video Project

Winner of 48hr Music Video Project 2012

Nani was the winner of best 48MVP Song 2012

Heart & Soul Photography sponsored a photoshoot for the winner of the ‘Best Song’ award at the 48 Hour Music Video Project Johannesburg 2012. Lovely NaNi won it for her song titled ‘Nomalanga’.

We had a lot of fun in studio with this shoot – Nani wanted to go for a ‘Billy Holliday’ type look, so i mostly went with a very vintage, black and white look when editing the pics, and I am absolutely in love with the result!

Precious Angel Kids Party Planning and Birthday Party Photography

Kids Party Planning Johannesburg

My Neighbour recently opened her own business as a party planner, specialising in kids birthday parties. She has done an amazing job of it, and her business has exploded since she started. The decor is outstanding for each and every party, and something new and fresh is added for each and every one.

Mandy has blown us all away with her unique ideas for kids themed parties. She never ceases to impress! Some of precious angel parties’ recent party themes have included a Smurfs, Cars, Tinkerbell, Spiderman, and Army theme and Minnie Mouse party themes.

Mandy handles everything a parent might need for a kids birthday party – from the table decorations and catering, to entertainment like jumping castles and face painting, and she always adds lovely themed party packs to suit the party theme, which kids go absolutely crazy for! This all means that you – as the parent, can actually relax and enjoy your little one’s special day and not run around taking care of all the details. We all know how crazy a kids party can be, nevermind organising it all, as well as being there for your precious angel!

To complement and complete Precious Angel’s amazing party offerings, I am offering kids party photography packages. Let me capture your little princess, prince, pirate or fairy forever! I will capture the special day and precious moments with heart and soul!

Prints, canvas prints and photobooks are available of the memorable day once editing has been completed. Many parents like to make this an annual event and start a collection of photobooks over the years. 🙂
