A 1930’s/40’s inspired maternity photo shoot, done in two parts, the fist half was shared with John and Annalisa’s son, Luca, the second half was just mom and dad. We used Reefsteamers in Germiston to shoot the vintage styled photo shoot, which was perfect for what John and Annalisa had in mind. I’m really happy with how the shoot turned out, and John and Annalisa LOVE their photos, and the fact that it was a unique maternity photo shoot.

When Lauren contacted me to arrange her maternity shoot, she had quite a specific style in mind, she wanted soft light, sun flare, and a vintage feel. We didn’t have much light to work with at the end of the day, but we managed to chase that light and make it happen.
I must say, this has to be one of my most favourite maternity shoots that I have done so far, for so many reasons. Firstly, I have wonderful clients that enable me to play and experiment, and Kermit and Lauren are no exception, they were so chilled and an absolute joy to work with. I really loved Lauren’s choice of outfits, including all the hair accessories, that flower headpiece, well that just gave it that 70’s, bohemian feel, which I am so in love with, so naturally, I was in my element.
I wish Lauren and Kermit all the best for the arrival of their precious little girl, may she be your golden light and bring you joy, always.

What a beautiful maternity photo shoot with Lulwando and Siyabonga, it almost felt angelic, the surroundings were gorgeous and the light was heavenly. I enjoyed this shoot so very much for all it’s beauty and loveliness. Lulwando wore a beautiful pink flowing dress at the start of her photo shoot, and it just set the mood for the rest of the shoot.
I got to play with gorgeous light and the cosmos was in full bloom, it was real eye candy, esp when you throw in a beautiful mom-to-be and her handsome hubby. Lulwando and Siyabonga are a lovely couple and I wish them the very best in their journey together as parents.
